Choosing Your Photos
When you choose a photo to work from, please choose one or several that you think really capture the expressions you like. Non Flash photos please.
I don't have any suitable photos, is it possible you can take them?
I usually take my own photos of the subjects as well to help with the painting process. I am very happy to meet your canine pals and other pets. In the case of a people portrait, a sitting may be required.

I have several pets, and lots of photos, but not one photo with them all together.
No problem, I will compose the painting using the different photos of the animals.
I don't like the background in the photo of my dog. Can it be changed?
Yes, some of the pet portraits in the gallery have been changed.
What materials do you use?
Professional quality oil paint on stretched Belgian linen canvas.
Do the paintings come framed?
No, this is a personal choice.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, to secure a place in the painting schedule, a 50% deposit is payable once painting starts. Please refer to the price guide.
